I am a fic writer and cosplayer from Richmond, VA. I have been writing fic on and off for close to 20 years, and cosplaying for around 10. My primary fandom is Final Fantasy VIII and has been for quite awhile, and I don't really see that changing anytime soon--my husband cosplays with me (and occasionally writes fic), and there is a lot of our relationship wrapped into that game (or the other way around?). I will, however, cosplay from a far greater variety of fandoms (especially when bribed to do so with local craft beer).
I have a young daughter, and currently a son on the way, and parenting and my career have pushed a lot of fandom activity lower on my priority list, but do still write as often as I can. Most of my writing is at ffnet (www.fanfiction.net/~summonerluna), though I have an A03 account under the same name where I occasionally remember to cross-post updates. I am at summonerluna.tumblr.com as well, where I sporatically post headcanons.

We finally did a shoot for Snow from Once Upon a Time... It's not the most recognizable costume, to be sure, but shortly after finding out I was pregnant a few friends asked if I wanted to be involved in a OuaT shoot, and well, that left me with one option. I got a few pictures at Katsucon, but Billy and I went out to the park the other day (on mother's day, actually, of all the days to take pictures in a maternity costume) and got some in a much better setting--and with my belly three months larger. Well, since I am actually starting to use this account a little bit more, it's bothering me that I do not have anything in this section.
Most of what I post here is cosplay, but I am also helping out with a challenge in the Final Fantasy VIII fandom called "Where I Belong," that is a celebration of the Squall and Rinoa pairing!
The challenge is over the whole month of August, and is for any and all fanworks--fic, art, graphics, fsts, amvs, drabbles, whatever you feel like submitting! The rules are pretty simple: Any submissions must focus around Squall and Rinoa and their relationship, no character death for Squall and Rinoa, and all works
